NARC trips 2014

We are pleased to confirm that I am currently arranging 2 club trips for this year, one to the RSGB National Hamfest on Friday 26th September and one to the newly refurbished Bletchley Park during the summer (date to be confirmed).
I am getting quotes now and the trips will be offered as cheaply as we can, but the price will be dependant on good support in numberst as each coach alone will cost well over £500 and so will need plenty of people to fill it to enable us to offer seats at a competitive price.
The Bletchley Park trip will initially be offered to NARC members and immediate families only (as last time we filled the coach) but the National Hamfest coach and ticket trip will be open to anyone. (please note that RSGB members can now gain free access to Bletchley Park and this will all be taken into account by offering coach travel only - all will be explained on the booking form.
You do not need to book or do anything right now except to start thinking about them and be ready to commit when I issue booking forms in the next few weeks as they will only be able to go ahead if there are enough people to make them viable.

Club meetings
CLUB MEETINGS:
In person and online with NARC Live!
Following the Covid pandemic the club has changed where it meets, though it is still every Wednesday through the year.
Online:
Approximately every other Wednesday the club now broadcasts its own magazine show NARC Live! Wednesday with news, features, talks and guests.
It is streamed online live from 19.30 UK local time at the following places and anyone is welcome to watch and join in, not just NARC members:
In person:
The club physically meets on the other Wednesdays in the sixth form centre of the City of Norwich School, Eaton Road, Norwich, NR4 6PP from 1900-2130 UK local time.
We welcome anyone of any age, gender or ability and who enjoys experimenting with radio and electronics to come and meet us and see what we do in our hobby.

If you missed a NARC Live we now we record most shows in the studio and upload them to Youtube within 2 days.
